I grew up in Newport, RI, and graduated from URI. I have lived in Old Town, Alexandria, VA; Pawleys Island, SC; and retired to Delray Beach 14 years ago. Each of these was on a body of water, where I am happiest. Educated at the prestigious Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA, my coastal surroundings have deeply influenced my artistic journey. I am an accomplished artist and specialize in bright and playful florals, whimsical birds, lively fish, and captivating beach scenes. My artwork reflects my love of nature and coastal lifestyle.  

 My paintings evoke a sense of joy and serenity, capturing the essence of coastal living with every brushstroke. With a keen eye for color and a passion for storytelling through my art, my creations adorn homes and galleries, spreading warmth and inspiration to all who encounter them.

 My family members have been both artistic and musical. My mom sang with The Boston Pops. My dad was a concert pianist. My aunt and brother were/are watercolorists of distinction.   

 I continue to take lessons at the Boca Raton Museum Art School and The Armory in West Palm Beach. My art is original and diverse. I am a realist painter but like whimsical! I am currently trying my hand at abstract creations and knife pallet painting.
